Sponsorships support our educational opportunities and fundraising events. The trainings we provide to law enforcement, healthcare providers, first responders, and others are crucial in getting patients to us within the optimal time frame for the medical forensic examination; including evidence collection. Sponsor funding allows us the flexibility to increase our education and outreach activities, and supplements our fundraising efforts thereby increasing opportunities for all to break the silence. When our patients speak ...we listen. We listen and offer choices for healthcare needs, reporting options, and resources to begin the healing journey. Help us break the silence by making a difference through a sponsorship. Email us for detailed sponsorship opportunities.

The Fort Wayne Sexual Assault Treatment Center recognizes that addressing sexual violence as a “major public health concern” as identified by the Center for Disease Control must be done as a community wide effort.  We are so very fortunate in our Northeast Indiana corner of the world, that our community recognizes this as well.  It takes the efforts of over 53 different law enforcement agencies in 16 counties, hundreds of first responders and other personnel and the support of people like YOU to make a difference in the life of a victim of sexual assault.  We continue to be humbled by the generosity of individuals, who want to help us further our work by making cash and in-kind donations, hosting fundraisers, assisting with clerical duties or simply by spreading the word that we exist.  These types of commitments clearly demonstrate that our community values the services we provide at the Fort Wayne Sexual Assault Treatment Center. On behalf of our youngest patient who was just 35 days old and our oldest patient who was 94 years old and every patient in between we graciously thank you!

The Fort Wayne Sexual Assault Treatment Center is entirely supported on the gracious gifts from individuals, foundations, community events, and corporations. Our Message

We recognize that sexual assault is complicated and confusing—and difficult to talk about.  Sexual assault is one of the most under-reported (and not talked about) crimes that include rape, fondling, molestation and any other sexual contact that is unwanted and non-consensual.  Sexual assault knows no boundaries.  It does not discriminate based on gender, race, age, socio-economic status or sexual orientation.  Sexual assault can occur between strangers or more commonly between people who know each other. Sexual assault occurs between acquaintances, friends, classmates, teammates, neighbors, lovers, spouses, and partners as well as between every family relationship possible. Regardless of who, what, when or why of an assault one thing is always true; the person who is sexually assaulted is NEVER to blame for the assault. If you or a loved one has been sexually assaulted, remember, you are not alone.  Break the silence. When YOU SPEAK ...WE LISTEN.  We listen and offer choices for healthcare needs, reporting options, and resources to begin a journey of healing. We are forensic nurses making a difference for victims of sexual assault in Northeast Indiana.
